Design costs are a one off £35 with web hosting costs just £12 pa. That includes all the charges to get your web site online. Hosting charges are highly competitive with a free transfer option.

Web hosting includes:- Rental of a full domain www.yoursitename.co.uk or org.uk type name, server space of 200Mb and 1Gb bandwidth (usage by visitors to your site) per month. On this single page website for example, that would allow over 20,000 page views per month.

First years one off design and annual hosting charge is £47. You pay £12 for one years hosting & domain registration or transfer, with the balance of £35 due on completion - when you are happy with the design.

How do you get your material online? You supply by email the text, photos and audio that you want online.

Optionally specify text fonts, colours, background detail - as much (or as little) layout detail as you wish if you have any preferences. If not don't worry.

I produce a sample design for you to view based on your material, thats within days of receiving the material. If its not what you want, I am happy to have repeated tries, so long as you give guidance on the effect(s) you want to achieve.

The single page website design package is mainly based on your material, that is: text, graphics, even audio & video. Your images can be re-sized, trimmed, colour adjusted, converted to different formats, rotated and more ...

Simple graphic design is included, graphics like: pointer arrows, wallpaper background tiles, favourite bar icons and so on. Sorry but creating complex graphics for you is outside of the scope of this package.

Website promotion by getting links to your website is included in this package. I usually get 6 or more relevant links but this does vary with your location and the company, product, service, event ... that you are promoting.

I can almost always get more links for websites with a landline telephone number and an postal address, If you can supply one or both of these, it will be beneficial for your website.

Mobile phone numbers can be given in place of land line number but this is second best when compared to a landline number.

Map links will also be requested for sites with a postal address or a phone number but this is not guaranteed.

In the highly unlikely event that the major search engines Google & Bing fail to find your website, I will manually submit your site to them. Yahoo by the way now use the Bing database.

Search engines generally value web sites with links that they can follow to that web site, they are VERY good at finding links to your website. This is the preferred method of getting your web site into the search engines indexes.

Do I offer 999 automated submissions to other search engines and directories? A very big NO!

Why not? Automated marketing like this can be considered spam. Most of these web sites generate very little traffic and are not relevant to your website's material. Automated submission gives you little or no control on how your site is presented too. Lots of them actually use one of those large search engines data anyway.

Worse, some of those minor search engines and other sites may even be spammers or sell your details on.

Firefox now has a significant share of the web browser market and the package includes testing with both the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.

Your page will be verified as W3C compliant. Unless some 3rd party add-ons like embedded Youtube videos & some map links are used.

The single page website package includes up to 3 email addresses, in the form of anyname@yourwebsite.co.uk (or .org.uk).

Telephone support is by a 0117 phone number (Bristol UK). That includes assistance with Outlook Express on Windows XP, Windows Vista Mail and Windows 7 Live Mail.

It also includes the option for email re-direction to other email addresses.

The package also includes a one click style change option, changing your website page layout based on your visitors input. Commonly used for accessibility - large text/high contrast for example but can be used to set a user preference for colour, background, fonts, etc ...

Requires Javascript to be active, see the larger/high contrast link on the right hand side near the top of page.

Note that Javascript is inactive on your computer, so no link will be displayed.

Websites are expandable: add extra sections to your single page, additional pages, additional graphics, motion effects, extra bandwidth and extra email addresses. These can all be added to an existing website.

On a shared server - very high use for one client, cripples the response times for both your website and any other clients who are on that server. Should you need very high band width usage contact me for more information, as there are options to do this.

There is no charge from me to transfer your single page website to another hosting supplier during the yearly hosting period. Free transfers however are usually not possible after the expiry date of a web hosting package.

Note: there is likely to be a charge from your new hosting supplier.

An initial statistics review is included in the package too. Supplied by email between one to two months after the web site is complete. With a yearly statistics review supplied prior to hosting renewal every year.

Reviews show - search engine referrers/search terms used, page traffic and bandwidth usage. With various reports showing visitors, page views but not 'hits'.

'Hits', can be highly misleading! One human visitor to this page will usually generate one page view but 30 hits for example, beware of statistics that focus on 'hits'!
